Q: What are Clay Bars?
A: Clay bars were invented in Japan in the late 1980’s to remove paint overspray and minor flaws from freshly painted vehicles in auto body repair facilities. The clay bar is a malleable plastic resin that pulls off and instantly removes harmful pollutants from your vehicle finish without using strong, acidic chemicals or harsh abrasives.
Q: What does a clay bar do?
A: Clay bars are non-abrasive and have the ability to grab the tiniest of debris as it glides across the clear coat of your vehicle. We, at Magic Auto Detail, use the bar with a proper lubricant to pull off contaminants that you can and cannot see. When these pollutants such as industrial fallout, rail dust, brake dust, etc. are removed, your vehicle’s finish will be further protected and will also have a deep and shiny gloss.
